Web designers have a responsibility not to use content or photos without proper permission from the original author. To avoid any liability, it is recommended to use public domain photos that are cleared for personal and commercial use without having to credit the author or pay royalties. This is also a good reason to pay a small licensing fee, normally a one-time flat fee, for the rights to use, modify, and integrate into your own designs stock photography created by expert photographers and artists.

File sharing is a major legal issue and is a bad idea to host any application that violates intellectual property laws.
